    Store Count Question

    Sam Waters

I'm new to Tableau and I have a table of retail sales data, by distributor for a given year. I am trying to pull together a report that shows a count of stores, by distributor, that had zero sales for a given period. The issue is that when I do a count of stores, all I get is a count of the number of instances that store appears in the data for that time period. I have filters on for zero sales and the time period, but my numbers are way too high. If there are three stores with zero sales and those three stores show up 20 times in the data for the time period, the result I get is 60. Is there any way to separate out the store numbers and then do a count of the store numbers?
