3. Re: Telemetry, Tableau and Torque
Shawn Wallwork Jan 7, 2013 8:13 AM (in response to Allan Walker)Interesting Allan. Do you have any idea why it plays so slowly? I tested it in both 8 & 7, and it's about the same. Even at fast speed it takes forever to move to the next dot. Thoughts?

4. Re: Telemetry, Tableau and Torque
Allan Walker Jan 7, 2013 10:19 AM (in response to Shawn Wallwork)Interesting. It is chunked up into .1 second intervals, and it's having to re-draw each lat/long every time; however, that is the exact device time. I could maybe put it up with 1 second intervals, but then you loose the granularity. Also, it isn't showing history, so you don't get the "trail".

Shawn Wallwork Jan 7, 2013 10:49 AM (in response to Allan Walker)OK, that make a little more sense. You're not traveling very far in a tenth of a second, so it's probably just putting dots on top of each other. I was able to get history to work, but I had to take the 'fade' completely off -- then you get a very slow progression of dots along the street. Anyway it's a fun viz, post back if you do more with it.
