You can do something similar with parameters, but not filters. Take a look at the attached workbook for an example on how to do it.
In the first dashboard, the person has the ability to select a product type value. This filters the table above to show information on that filter. The parameter is also used in the URL statement for the web page object in the second dashboard - this can be accessed by selecting the "Click for" button at the bottom of the page.
