I was unable to open the workbook, however, is the Show Sheets as Tabs box marked when you publish the workbook?:
that did work...but what if I don't want to user to be able to see the sheets as tabs? I want to user to go through the dashboard in a specific path using the "action buttons" that are on the dashboards...
I am also interested in this option. can anyone tell me if they are able to achieve it.
I believe that the only way to hide tabs from workbooks is by unchecking the 'Show Sheets as Tabs' option at the time of publishing.
- Host the content in an iframe embedded in a div that is offset with a negative top (so that the tabs are hidden as they are 'off-screen')
That said. In general I've found it best to not fight Tableau's intended design too much.
Hope this helps!
Daniel is right, and this is a HUGE pain! We should be able to hide any tabs we want in Server. Currently, the only option is to either show all tabs or none.
