Use key fields to differentiate different members with same names

We have clients who have dimension members with the same descriptions, but the keys are unique automatically-assigned sequential numbers. For example, several customers may have the name "Home Depot", though they each have a different key. This also occurs when clients may have the data from several companies combined: some of the product or customer names may be the same.

When mapping the data in from SQL tables, am I able to somehow map the dimension members in such a way that the uniqueness of the dimension member is determined by the Key, but then it displays the Description (or Name)? (We are talking about hundreds or thousands of products or customers here, on a regular basis, with new ones being added all the time.)

      Thanks,
