Finding data source field name after field renamed

    Brian Near

Quite often we have to rename the fields that the SQL Server developer selected when creating our source data.  Occasionally, we'll have to have a developer fix a problem with this data, and they generally need the name of the problematic field.

Is there an easy way to determine the underlying data field name, after it's been renamed?  One way I've found is to open the .twb with a text editor and search for the field name, which will reveal the name as used in the data source, but is there a better way?
