Unfortunately, you're going to need to manage this yourself by turning the value into a string and manually inserting the format characters yourself (%, $, decimal points, commas). Simplified example attached.
Another approach would be to use your parameter selection dialog as a mechanism to show/hide TWO different worksheets - one with the $ formatting on amount, another with the % formatting on percent.

Russell thanks for this! I've been taking the laborious RAWSQL/calculated field route. It just never occurred to me to create a whole slew of individual sheets. I'll definitely be using this in the future. ('Duplicate Sheet' sure will come in handy.) Thanks,
