Are you receiving any errors or it is just continuously spinning?
We have had the same issue. Tableau Web sessions error out (an error message is displayed) sporadically when we are on wireless while we dont have any such issues on wired LAN. Is there some timeout/retry settings that can be updated to allow for a longer wait and retries on the tableau server side to account for higher latency and small interruptions during a web session that has been established over wireless?
It is possible to change the vizqlserver.querylimit and gateway.timeout settings on Tableau Server using the tabadmin set command in order to increase the time allowed for updating a view and time the gateway will wait before failing a request, respectively.
Additional information on changing these values in Tableau Server can be found in the following Product Help guide: http://onlinehelp.tableausoftware.com/current/server/en-us/help.htm#tabadmin.htm
Hope this helps,
We just put in the changes recommended in the below post. In case the problem recurs, we will experiment with the settings you suggested as well.
