I created the attached data table using the Superstore Sales sample database to demonstrate a problem that I have run into doing manual sorts.
The data table has five columns. The first two are for the dimensions Region and Customer name, the next two are for the measures Sales and Profit, and the last one is for the calculated measure profit %. As you can see in the sample, the individual sort buttons for the measures do not work correctly.
Is this because there is more than one dimension in the table? If so, is there a workaround?
One way to do this is to create a set with Region and Customer Name. Place the set between Region and Customer Name on the rows shelf. Then, right click on it and un-check Show Header. Now, the one-click sorts will sort according to whichever measure is chosen.
