Hey Chris -
You can use the same article you already found, but don't use the "Menu" action when you build the Action Filter. Instead, use "Select" -- this will allow the user to single-click vs. right-click.
Most importantly - enjoy the weekend and don't work too hard!
Russell Thanks for the reply
I have a deadline for monday so needs must.
This is the example that uses a URL Link - What I don't know is how what to enter as the link field when I want to goto a Dashboard in the same Workbook.
Your article explains things well. Can you explain what doesn't make sense to you? Which step is unclear? I've attached a working example (minus fancy formatting).
It isn't necessary to use a URL to navigate between dashboards in Server or in Desktop. Filter Actions will work in both cases (as long as the workbook is published with "shows sheets as tabs")
Example.twbx.zip 21.8 KB
Thanks once again Russell,
What I don't get? I would like to use an Excel Spreadsheet to supply Tableau with the Dashboard Links as in the Example and I do not know what to put in the link Field. I have tried Dashboard 1 etc but it is looking for a URL.
Hope taht makes sense.
