    Mapping multiple dimensions simultaneously

    Nathan Brown

Hi, I'm working with a public dataset that has both City-level data (police departments) and County-level data (Sheriff's Office)- I would like to display crime rates for both on the same map (I thought I'd use the size of circles for crime rate and color or shape for agency type). However, while the Detail section accepts them both, the map only wants to display one or the other. I'm sure I'm missing something obvious- how do you display both levels of data simultaneously on a map?

BTW, I do have lat/long data I can input for each county if necessary- but Tableau already has that baked in-- in fact, the counties do display correctly when on their own. Thanks for any advice!
