No, count is counting number of rows. You need a calculated field something like this:
Use this as a filter set to true.
Note this will count spaces, dashes, everything in that field.

Thank you Alex - I knew it was Len <11 but had missed off the brackets and the =. I did think by selecting the dropdowns it would populate that for me properly but it kept coming up with an error.
Anyone now I know so I can crack on and thanks for the point about the spaces and dashes which I guessed it would anyway.
I'm sure I will be a regular poster on this board.
Can I ask you one more thing, it is returning fields with a null value too so I need to adjust that and dont know how to.
I either change the formula to >0 but <11 - I can't get the exact wording and is there any list of all these things.

Your new calc would be something like
len([Mobile Number])<=11 and len([Mobile Number])>0
