My organization is considering going with either Tableau Public or Digital. Obviously, going with the free version would be nice if it meets our needs. We want to publish interactive visualizations to the web but also need the ability to use visualizations in PDFs, Powerpoints (with interactivity), and saved as images to use in publications. I know you can save a visualization as an image, pdf, etc with the Tableau Desktop. It doesn't look like you have the same functionality with Tableau Public.
Can you save a visualization as a PowerPoint, PDF, and/or image with Tableau Public? I don't want to publish a visualization to the web and then dowload from there. I would like to save it directly in the Workbook editor.
I would just use a screen grabbing tool if you can't export the image in Public.
