I'm guessing that "There is not enough space on the disk."
In other words, you've run out of hard drive space on the server machine. Can you (or your administrator) free some up?
If your hard drive clearly has more than, say, 15% free space then we might be looking at some other cause/factor.
The Workbook is 2.7GB there is currently 52GB of space on the receiving drive which equal about 50% free. What I'm most curious about is the "limit=1048576" text at the end of the error. Not sure what that is referring to...
Ah, interesting. Alright, we'll need to dig in some more. We've had some issues in the past with workbooks of size > 2 GB, but believed that we'd eliminated all those problems as of... oh I don't know, about two years ago, and the Data Engine is specifically designed for large data.
We definitely want to investigate. Please open a support case and they'll help you quantify this report. Thanks!
I was wondering if this issue was ever resolved. I'm getting the same message when publishing a 4GB packaged workbook.
Was a solution ever identified? Is there some setting on Tableau Server? I get a similar message and we have plenty of Disk space; obviously the Datafile path is different. The limit displayed is 65536.
