Tableau Public is our free product. Anything that is published can be seen by anyone on the internet, and the workbook can also be downloaded so that anyone can work with it. The following link provides further information on it:
Tableau Server is private. You can give different read/write permissions to different users. This link gives more information on Server:
PDFs can be created directly from both Tableau Server and Tableau Desktop. It is also possible to Copy or Export the image in Tableau Desktop so that it is 'print ready.' I hope this helps!
Great! Thanks for that it is very helpful. In the case of Tableau Public, suppose the visualization is deleted: Is the data still searchable and retrievable by the general public? In other words, the project is deleted, but does the data still exist in some form out there? Thanks again!
