Hey Oscar -
Can you re-phrase and/or elaborate on the last part of your question:
...I need to further customize the page so the username/password are not displayed or hidden....
We don't support modifying this page, but if you give us an idea of what your end goal around security is, there might be a way to accomplish it. Why are you trying to modify this page? Why would it help you?
Hi Russell, good to hear from you, hope all is well with you. Here is what I am trying to do. The user logs in through our portal then launches the Tableau Server application that is served up within an new explorer window. After 15 minutes of inactivity our portal interface times out and displays the portal login screen. The window where Tableau is being displayed also times out at 15 minutes but that window displays the Tableau Server login screen. I want to avoid the Tableau Login screen because it's not a good user experience or be able to modify the Tableau Login screen in order to point the user back to our portal page. Thanks for your help in the past.
Hi Oscar, Have you got any solution to your problem? Looking forward to here solution part of your problem.
I've a similar question.
Because of security aspects I would like to hide or disable the Server login page.
Access to the Server will be granted via SSO with Trusted Tickets or SAML.
Is there something new, so that it's now possible to modify this page?
Thanks and regards,
