Don't know if the trick I will give you respond exactly to your needs, but it can help.
For example with the Sample-SurperStoreSales file, put the field Category on the Shape field of the Marks Shelf.
Then you can easily choose wich shape you want to associate with wich value.
Then put an a filter on the field category.
(Rememember to use .png or .gif files if you want to use transparency.
.jpg doesn't manage transparency.

If your images are on a web server, you can use a web page object to show the image. Create a URL action and put the <fieldname> in the URL blank. Set the action to run on select. When you click on an item it will show the corresponding picture.
This doesn't work with filters. Depending on exactly how you want it to look, you could use a sheet that lists the companies as a filter, and tie the action to that sheet.
This is partially there, can I put photos somewhere in my computer or in my database to be able to chose which "shapes" show up, ie the logo of a comapny?
