AD Group Import fails if User already on server?

    Tim Latendress

Already sent this to Tableau Support yesterday but thought I would try the Forum. We are implementing multiple AD groups to manage access to Projects on TS V7.0 (upgrading to 7.0.1 tomorrow to see if that fixes the problem). In our configuration a user can be in more than one AD group.

The errors, below, lead me to believe the Import is failing because the user is already in the Users list.  Is this a bug or by design or am I missing something else altogether?

Our first stab at a small test Import fails:

Found 3 active members of 'Tableau_MCBS_MAP_Publishers'

A look into the postgresql.log file reveals the following error:

2012-03-22 10:42:15.255 EDT 5524 ERROR:  duplicate key value violates unique constraint "index_system_users_on_name_and_domain_unique"

Thanks for any help you can give!
