      I came across this blog article http://www.designspectre.com/design/data-visualization-examples/ and could not find anything outstanding. They are just ordinary info-graphics that could be found by the bucket-loads all over the Internet. They may be done well from design perspective, which is good, but as instruments of visualising data they suck. I think it is because clarity was sacrificed for good looks.

      This is in contrast to the NYT viz that uses animation with sound to give real feel to how small the time difference is between winners and "non-winners" , as  mentioned in Re: Favorite Viz of All Time?


      Is it just me or do you also find these to be nothing special?
