I've had similar things happen. But not both lines being cut off. In my case it was only the bottom line and when I added another blank (a few spaces) line below it then it displayed correctly. What font & font size are you using. I'll see if I can reproduce what you've got pictured.
I've also come across situations needing to add a blank line, but that approach doesn't seem to work here.
I am using Gill Sans MT font, seems to happen with any size.

OK, here's my guess:
Gill Sans MT is not available in my Tableau 7 drop-down font selection menu, so I'm assuming it is a font you've installed (maybe it came with one of your graphics programs) and Tableau is using your machine's loaded fonts to display available fonts, but it is unaware of this fonts special characteristics. (Please realize this is a complete guess on my part, hopefully someone who actually knows what's going on will confirm this, or give us the real answer.)

This was the only font where I've noticed any problems. Your guess is a good one - hadn't even thought about something like that.
