Hi, I haven't been able to figure out how to do this. Have you found a solution to change the order of floating containers on the dashboard dynamically?
In this sheet replacement in dashboard, I am facing one issue, Can any one please help me on this. . .
When we are showing any quick filters in the dashboard, that time when we replace any sheet, filters are showing as "No Items" when we go with relevant filter option.
It will show filter values when we are going with "Show all values",
Eshwar -- I think your question deserves its own thread. Can you start a new thread with your question?
Please provide a packaged workbook demonstrating the behavior. If you need to anonymize your data, you can follow the technique demonstrated in a vide that is linked here:
In this examples there are no titles for sheets.
In this example can we add titles to the sheets, and that sheet titles should also display dynamically.
Is this possible??
I tried in different ways?
If it is possible can u guys please??
If you are swapping sheets, you can't use the TITLE functionality for each sheet. If you do, when tableau empties out a sheet it still will hold onto the space that the sheet occupies so that it can display the empty title.
Therefore I create a dummy sheet that has a dynamic title that changes based on the swapping condition. No data. Just the title. I place that in an area above the swapping container. As the sheets swap in the container, the dynamic title sheet changes accordingly.
I think it is not possible in this case.
I tried in different ways, but I can't find the solution.
If there is any solution please find it and attach a workbook for reference please.
The attached example (V8.3) has two solutions.
Dashboard 2 swaps two sheets. I have placed a text box above the swap container. the text box displays the value of the parameter.
Dashboard does the same swapping. I created a third sheet to display a title, and the title includes the value of the parameter.

Can you please attach a sample workbook(.twbx)
in that workbook I can find individual sheets, but where is all sheets option.
Yogesh -- Start a new thread. Provide your sample workbook and describe what you are trying to do.
I Did the same dashboard which u posted here, but the problem in this is if we hide the sheets title then it is fine. But if we don't hide the sheets titles and we want to change the sheet titles also dynamically.
As now we are having three sheets with all Option also.
Then if select All then all the sheets with there titles should display.
If we select any single sheet then only that sheet with title should display.
is this possible?
Start a new thread.
When you do, post a sample workbook. I need to see what "ALL" is supposed to look like. I need a physical example.
Start a new thread. We really have a new question here and it should be in a separate thread.
This is a great way to use the parameters. I tried it but the same filters are not working for the sheets I created. Can you please help me with that.
