    Creating a sparkline

    Adam Goodwin

I've had a look at this article: http://kb.tableausoftware.com/articles/knowledgebase/sparklines-bullets, as well as quite a few blog posts which haven't really helped.

I'm trying to do something like a sparkline with a cube as my source, but I'm starting to think the easiest way to do this is just to create a line chart and remove the axis etc. However, there are still a couple of problems if I try to do this:

      1) I need to find a way to get rid of the scroll bar at the bottom of the chart, Tableau needs to just cram all of the data into the area that I give it.

      2) I've actually asked this in another thread, (http://www.tableausoftware.com/support/forum/topic/filtering-current-date-when-using-cube-source) but the second problem with a sparkline is that I need to set a period of time for it to cover. For it to be useful, it really needs to be able to automatically do something like show the data from today back to 10 days ago.

If anyone can help with either of these problems, thanks in advance
