Don't know if this will help you, but I was able to import your file into Excel then save it as both a .xls and a .csv and produce the attached workbook. It may be that Tableau doesn't like the semi-colon delimited structure, but that's a complete guess on my part based on Tableau documentation that states: These files should be in Comma Separated Values (CSV) format. Maybe when they say comma, they really mean comma. But this hasn't got much to do with Firebird errors

My guess is that it's in some way related to your locale and the fact that the delimiter is ";" rather than "," - even though that's not what the error message seems to say. A couple of hunches you could try:
1) Replace the ";" with "," in your CSV file.
2) Define a schema.ini file in the custom geocoding directory, specifying the delimiter as ";" - you would need a line like this in the schema.ini:
Have you tried asking Tableau support - they may well be familiar with the issue?
We tried to replace the delimiter already. That's one of the thing I've tried before posting initially. Sorry I enclosed the wrong file.
It seems to work for you so we really wonder if it isn't about our locale. They must be something different about our computer. I guess contacting the support is a good idea.
For your information, the issue was resolved with the last release Version 7.0.2.
Thank you for your help.
