Heatmaps - custom color range and excluding null values

two questions please. I built a timeseries heatmap for debt/gdp by country  (see attached snapshot). The problem is, Tableau is looking at the whole dataset to determine the color choices of each cell, whereas the proper way to do it is determine the distribution of values per row (country), so that each row is it's own heatmap sort-of speak. Is there a way to do that?

Also, how can I exclude individual null values in a dataset without excluding the full row? The light shaded cells in the attached heatmap are in fact null values (Tableau assigns zeros automatically), which makes the heatmap misleading. any ideas?

      much love
