Here's an example of a really good superstore dashboard posted on Tableau Public. I've included a link to a blog post detailing some of the techniques used to build the dashboard.

Hi all,
I'm a newbie to Tableau.
Actually I have a measure Profit Ratio in Sample SuperStore dataset which gives the result values between 30-100.
I'm getting stuck how to implement the Between condition for the various target values as mentioned below to represent them in three different colours Green, Yellow and Red.
If the Profit Ratio value is greater than or equal to 100 then Green
If Profit Ratio is in between 50 - 100 then Yellow
If Profit Ratio is less than 50 then Red
Could anyone please help me with the logic for the above condition?
The SuperStore dataset has no Order Date column and so, to implement a Year and Week I wrote two separate calculations as below:
Year : Year(Today())
Week: Week+ ' '+DateName('week', [Shipping Date])
Also kindly suggest me how to create a Relative Date filters using Year and Week measures separately which would both dynamically update and show the current Week value every Year. How to do this?
Please check the attached workbook.
Thanks in advance!
Best Regards,
Teja.

Hi,
I am using parameter for ascending and descending sorting of 3 fields. I am using the following Calculated field to sort :
CASE [Sort By]
WHEN 2 THEN MIN(FLOAT([Expiry Date]))*-[p_Ascending/Descending]
WHEN 1 THEN MIN(ASCII(UPPER([Location ])))* -[p_Ascending/Descending]
WHEN 3 THEN RANK(MIN(FLOAT([Item #])))* - [p_Ascending/Descending]
END
for case 3, I have a field Item number (String ) and the sorting is not correctly happening for this field. Is there some way I can correct this ?

I am creating a KPI dashboard for the Sample Superstore Dataset, with KPI cards like below:
I have already calculated the Profit and Sales for the most recent year (2022), the previous year (2021) and the % of profit and sales change from 2021 to 2022.
How can I do the same for Order Count and Customer Count? So the number of orders and customers in 2022, 2021 and the % change.
Attached packaged workbook. Thank you.

Hi Everyone,
Using Superstore as an example, I am trying to rank a stacked bar chart from most to least sales using the RANK_DENSE function. I would also like the ranking to work when using "Ship Mode" as a filter.
I created a calculated field, "_Sales Rank", but can't get it to work. I have searched the forums and looked online extensively but still haven't been able to solve the issue.
I have attached a packaged workbook. Thank you so much in advance.

So I would like to present a list of products that are sorted by Count. I'd like to be able to do a keyword search on the descriptions of these products and show the count of these keywords by superimposing the new graph on top of the old one. I've mocked it up using Superstore data.
Attaching workbook as well. Thank you.
