Hello, I am planning for Tableau Certified Consultant Exam (TCC-C01). As per the new update is there still hands on questions in the exam? As they reduced the passing % from 75% to 63%. I am confused that whether I could expect the hands-on questions or not? Anyone could confirm this?

Hi @Atul Narang (Member), i passed my Tableau Certified Architect certification in 2022 and just renewed it in 2024 so I will share my perspective. The format of the TCA exam changed, and for the better in my opinion, as instead of being purely theoretical questions as for example back in 2021/2022, there is now hands-on lab exercises on a Virtual machine and the question sets are really tailored for "on the job" server admins and realistic scenarios. So "easier" so to speak. This exam is made to validate the skills that you already apply in your daily role; it is not a certification to aim to be a Tableau Server Architect. If you are supporting a Tableau Server Cluster (installation/upgrade/troubleshooting/monitoring), auditing your instance for performance, stability and scalability, evaluated if you could migrate to Cloud, developing automation, and you are in charge of authentication, security and integration strategy, then it is all going to be fine.
For material and fill-in the gaps, you can look at the exam guide, at the end of the page, each domain topic has a link to a Tableau Help page.

You can also look at some recent TCA Udemy course/exam content but I cannot guarantee it is going to be any good.
Tableau Community (Tableau) asked a question.
Does anyone know if Tableau Online is FedRAMP certified?
If not, does anyone know if this is in the works?
Thank you in advance for any help answering these questions.

We currently do not have FedRAMP certification in Tableau Cloud (Tableau Online). It is certainly something that we are evaluating on our roadmap, but no concrete plans or dates that we can share at this point. Thank you!

Hi @Merry Chris Margarico (Member) , the standard Pearson refund is 10-14 business days. I would say if you go over that time, make sure to contact Pearson as they are the exam providers and will be able to assist you better.
Best,
