Hi everyone,
I have published the same Tableau dashboard on two different servers—one in Production and the other in Non-Production. The Export to PPT feature is enabled on both dashboards. However, when I export the PPTs, I notice an inconsistency:
Additionally, I found that changing my PC display resolution affects the exported PPT format. For example:
Has anyone experienced similar issues? Could this be related to server configurations, Tableau version differences, or display scaling settings? Any suggestions or fixes would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks in advance!

Hi,
When I download the report from tableau server via cross tab, it looses the date format in the excel file. Instead It looks like this, but I want it to look like the 2nd pic (clear Date format).
I wonder if there is a way around it. thank you.

Can a user having Viewer access subscribe to a view and will he be able to select a refresh frequency out of all the frequency options?
I am not able to test this feature as I have explorer role.
Please help me.

I have a export sheet within my dashboard to allow users to export the data to excel. I have download object on my dashboard for users to select if they want to download the data. For some reason, when they export the data, the last column values turn into columns at the end of the excel worksheet. Does anyone know why this is the case?

Tableau Sheet

Hi, I'm new to Tableau development and I have a client requirement to embed an "Export Data" button/link (whatever) on each individual worksheet on a dashboard, and producing a CSV when clicked. I've seen this article detailing how one might do this but it only permits pointing at a single worksheet (this is a bit restrictive for our needs).
It seems best to use Tableau's REST APIs as the datasource as we could more finely control what data is selected for the export. The question I have is how can such a thing be done? Does Tableau Server have any built in capabilities to do this out-of-the-box, or are we looking at a more complex integration?
Here's what we have envisioned; user would simply click the export icon on the worksheet's upper-right and a csv would be produced containing the underlying data for this specific sheet.
