I have a data source about migrants and I want to show how many of them are male and female. But I want to show this by using unit chart. More precisely, I want to have e.g. 10 units of gender shape on the graph that will be equivalent to the 100 percent and e.g. if 57 % of migrant are male, 57 % of the shapes should be filled in blue and what's left for female should be in another color. At the same time I want to show the quantity of female and male migrants. Could you please tell me how can i do it? Attached you can find the sample of data source.
Visualization if machine is running or not with a Gantt chart
348 / 5.000
Hello,
I'm trying to show the runtime of a machine in a gantt chart.
In my data source there is a time stamp when the status of the machine changes (1 = running, 0 = stopped).
How can I calculate the duration between the timestamps 1 to 0?
In addition, the status should be displayed as "running" if the last time stamp was with 1. Then there is no associated time stamp with 0 and the runtime has to be calculated up to now.
I've tried various things, unfortunately without success.
I am trying to create a Bill of Material dashboard which will show all the part serial numbers in a finished product.
I want to create a dashboard where I can list all the parts assembled into an individual product, then to be able to click any of these parts to show test results for that part.
I have created a sample excel file and a slide showing what I am trying to create.
Gantt chart - filter rows based on single attribute
Hi all,
I have a gantt chart that acts as a timeline for different phases of projects. I want to be able to filter the set based on entire projects (rows) that are "In Queue," meaning that the start date (of their first phase) is after today/in the future.
I made a calculated field "In Queue" to use as a filter that shows me some of the data, but since the filter is conditional on the phase being "Phase I," it only affects that one bar. I want to show/hide the entire row of project data. Is this possible?
I am new to Tableau. I would like to create a viz as shown in the "desired output" attachment, however can't figure out how to get from my trial (see test query) to the end product.
I'm stuck on - Marks aren’t stacking vertically in each column, like in this view that looks like a cityscape. No idea.
Can someone show me what I'm doing wrong. I had this issue with the Main Data, but then repeated the same steps for the 10th time and it started working (not sure how).
