My apologies in advance for not including images-- I may update with them shortly.
I have a very large Prep flow combining project and task details.
It was brought to my attention that some projects did not seem to be making it through the flow.
Because the flow includes many logical steps and checks, it was necessary for me to identify where in the flow the data was being restricted.
I began with a filter for Work_ID, limiting it to the first value I wanted to check. Here's where things got weird:
The filter was valid and most columns returned a single value (for example Project_Name, etc). One column that was blank, however, was Work_ID: the very column I was filtering on. Prep said something like "No data found" when I looked at the histogram.
Could this have been a result of me not running the flow but instead expecting the values in the very large file to be reflected in the histogram? I know Prep doesn't populate all values but only a sample; it just seems odd if other values were populated, this would be, as well.
There were over 1 million unique values in the Work_ID field. Thanks for your input!
