Make sure you know these simple guidelines for making our Tableau Community a helpful and welcoming place for everyone.
The Tableau Community consists of people from different countries, cultures, and beliefs, as well as varying levels of experience with using Tableau. Because of this, our community is a vibrant and amazing place where we all come together because we have chosen to use Tableau. We must be mindful to ensure all of our interactions are centered around supporting one another and acquiring news skills and insights by sharing knowledge about the Tableau products.
A cool feature in the Tableau Community Forums is the ability to bring another person into the conversation, a kind of ‘tap on the shoulder’ to let someone know you would like their attention and be part of it. Like any useful feature, it can be improperly used and as a consequence become so bothering that it gets ignored. This is a short etiquette guide to using the @Mention feature.
Personal insults, verbal attacks, and generally disrespectful, offensive, or abusive messages will be edited or deleted by forum moderators. Spam messages will be deleted immediately, and the user account will be disabled in the forums. To report inappropriate behavior or content, click the arrow on the right to flag it for review.
