Tableau lets you plot virtually any function - f(x,y) - without actual data. That is: out of 2 distinct records.

As an example of a simple 2D f(x) I chose sine & cosine - both parameters driven:

Tableau does not support 3D plots but color may be used as the 3rd dimension substitute. Such a function can take x & y as arguments.

[x,y] pair may be considered complex plain - where z=x+iy - for example:
