We’ve heard from site admins like you that you need more data to answer business-critical questions about your site usage and to better understand your own deployment on Tableau Online.
Coming soon in 2019.2, Admin Insights for Tableau Online will empower you to see and understand the usage data of your own site in powerful new ways. Admin Insights provides you with easy-to-use, curated data sources that enable you to monitor Tableau adoption, identify popular content, and better manage your users. At launch, the feature will also be packaged with a Starter workbook chock-full of useful insights about your very own site.
But that’s not all. This isn’t just for admins, you’ll be able to share your new project with leadership and empower users to manage their own content. Start with the Starter workbook or build your own with the published data source. Either way, you can customize them to fit your organization's needs.

The data sources in this feature are currently available in Beta. If you are a Tableau Online Admin and want to try out this feature ahead of the 2019.2 launch, you can! In your own production site, you can navigate to your Status tab and you will see a section at the top of the page titled Admin Insights. Click the Create Project button to get started.

For you special early testers, you’ll get the new Starter workbooks added directly into your Admin Insights project during the upgrade to 2019.2.
