How to change your Community Name, Title or Email address

    Looking to change your email address associated with your community account?

     

    Would you like to update your title?

     

    Or maybe you would like to modify the first and last name fields?  Please note that the first and last name fields are contain values that are shared with the rest of the community rather than the 'username' field.  Modify these two fields to show your desired community name. 

     

    These fields may all be updated by logging into www.tableau.com (top of the page - "Sign In").  This is not to be confused with the "Log in" link within the community forums. 

     

     

     

    Once you have logged in, please select "Edit Account" from the drop down menu that appears when you select your name from the top of the page.

     

     

    From this page, you will be able to update your profile or change your email address for www.tableau.com.

     

    After updating your email address, you will need to confirm the change via the email sent to your account.

     

    After all changes are complete, please close all browser instances and  then login to the community with a new browser instance.  The login event will update the Tableau Community Forums with your new information.
