If you're reading the Quick Fix Article News Blog, I'm making two assumptions about you: 1. You're pretty cool. 2. You have seen first hand how helpful these articles, written and edited by Tableau Technical Support and Documentation team members, can be for working with Tableau Software.

Just in case you weren't aware, that at the bottom of every Quick Fix article, there is a small survey:

If a Quick Fix article resolves an issue for you, please let us know. If an article does not resolve an issue, or is unclear, PLEASE let us know. We want the articles to be  accurate, helpful resources.

I feel like some of the articles are fixes for very specific problems, while others address common misconceptions or roadblocks that the average user might encounter. The former are there when needed, but if you can find the latter before they're needed, maybe you can save yourself a headache or two.

With that in mind, here are the Quick Fix articles that other users found helpful enough earn more than one yes vote in the last week. Maybe they can help you out sometime soon:

Adding Quick Filters to Dashboards – 3 votes this week (12 total)

Creating a Stacked Bar Chart Using Multiple Measures – 3 votes this week (95 total)

Displaying Subtotals for Only Some Dimensions – 2 votes this week (19 total)

Error "This application failed to start because Normaliz.dll was not found" – 2 votes this week (37 total)

Showing Legends on Dashboards – 2 votes this week (17 total)

Subscription Icon Does Not Appear in View 2 votes this week (4 total)

Thanks for reading.

See you next week.

I know we haven't had a lot of new articles lately, but that will change soon. Rebecca was doing so much around here, that after she left we tried to distribute her workload equally, and it nearly killed a few people. She's super human or something. Anyways, we're in the middle of the process to hire someone to streamline the article publishing process, and work out a small backlog we developed.

The flood of new quick fix articles is nigh, but today I have but one update to a quick fix article, and some excited doggies.

Cannot Create Firewall Rules to Access Mapping Servers

Make it Rain

No New Friends

Infinite Spinner

FC Barkcelona

Come on Down, Doggy

If you want to know what changed about the firewall rule article, let me know in the comments and I will investigate.

Until next week.
