Welcome to the last week of March 2016! I can't believe we're already this far into the year, and things don't seem to be slowing down anytime soon. Let's take a look into a slice of the community -

Announcements

In case you missed it, Tableau 9.3 was released last week. Check out the features before downloading it here: Tableau 9.3: Data, set, flow. And to kick it off, our social media team created this fun love your data quiz that's definitely fun to check out: #DataLoveAffair: Find Your Data's Perfect Match with Union | Tableau Software

Have you seen the latest Tableau Ambassador Spotlight - Norbert Maijoor? I learned a lot about Norbert Maijoor and how he uses Tableau - I think we can all learn a thing or two.

Last Thursday was a Think Data Thursday with Rody Zakovich teaching us all about how to use dates. If you missed it, you can find the recording here: Think Data Thursday   Dating Rody - YouTube.

Recognition

Ben Page achieved the "Questions for Breakfast" badge - meaning that at least 25 of his responses have been marked as correct. Ben, a consultant out of Chicago, has been a member of the community since last summer and is making his mark. He's contributed a couple of brain teasers, as well as helped out several people. Thank you for all you do, Ben!

Two people also received the "I Know Stuff!" badge (aka 10+ of their responses were marked as correct). Takaaki Koseki and Tableau employee, Cor Bader, both achieved this badge and are helping out this community. Thank you both!

Most Talked About Thread

**This is determined by the number of responses in a thread

Angie Tarbet asked a question about Sheet Selector for Dashboard-overlay sheets to use entire real estate on dashboard? She was having a hard time getting the trick of using a parameter to change what is displayed on the dashboard. Suraj Shah was working diligently with Angie, but they couldn't quite get the sheet swap to work with the tree map. In comes social media ambassador, Alexander Mou, who posted an example on Tableau Public, and then, wrote his own blog post about it - Vizible Difference: Seamless Sheet Swapping. Great trick, Alexander - thanks for sharing!

(One of the) Top Viewed Threads

Alexander Mou started this post in an effort gathering the Evolution of the Order of Operations Diagram. It's a great thread with lots of detail from both Joshua Milligan and Jonathan Drummey.

Top Voted Idea

In 2012, Thierry Jakircevic created the idea Different Columns Width. I know that I've certainly run into this, and last week, it received 9 up votes, giving it a grand total of 462 votes.
