Custom shapes als labels in line charts

Hi all,

I want replicate this line chart. My question is: Is it possible with Tableau public to add a logo as label at the end of each line?

IF/ELSE calculation to create a Coalition Calculator

Hi all,

I want to create a kind of Coalition Calculator for the German Federal Diet that shows the combined seats of one, two or more partys. The basis are weekly survey results. To get into the Federal Diet you need at least 5 percent of the votes. I thought about creating a stacked bar chart with "party" as quick filter. My problem is to exclude "Sonstige" and all partys that get less than 5 percent because this means that a party who gets 6 percent of the votes could get 8 percent of the seats.

My question is: How can I calculate that? And: What next?

Combining bars and custom shapes

Hi you all!

I just found this viz from 2010 (see below) and I wondered: How can I put my own flags in the "Total medals by country"-chart and also have this kind of blue bars? I just managed to put in the flags but then I just got those flags as markers for the total medal count - without any blue bars or shading.

Any help welcome.

"Missing Fields" when using URL-action with worksheet

Hi,

I want to use the "URL Action" in the Dashboard WM-Teilnehmer.

For every country on the map (sheet "Karte") there should be a menu entry in the tooltip linking to a website containing the team info.

The link should consist of URL/<Teaminfo>

The problem is that i cannot choose "Teaminfo" in the URL section.

When I write it by hand I get the error message "Missing fields on Karte" and the URL action doesn't work.

Can anyone tell me whats wrong and what is missing - and where exactly?

Apply a filter to whole dashboard doesn't work

Hi all,

in this dashboard Workbook: Linke-Mitglieder 2012_new I'd like to filter the map and the table by year - but it doesn't work.

The filter shown just works for the map and I don't know how to expand its functionality to the web. In the tutorial video about "Dashboard Development" they do it via the menu entry "Apply to worksheets". But I don't have this entry ... In another tutorial they do it via "Make global" - but this entry is missing as well.

Stacked Bar Chart

Hello!

I have this workbook http://public.tableausoftware.com/views/Book2_979/Sheet2 and want to put the three bars for every club in one stacked bar chart for every club. But how? When I try "Show me!" for g., u. and v., stacked bar chart is not available ... :-(
