Issues with PREVIOUS_VALUE in a Bass Model

Hello all

I am working on a Bass Diffusion of innovation model in tableau using some of the variables as the parameters for the model. The big problem I am encountering is to calculate a variable that calls for the y-1 (the previous result of the calculation of the same formula). Here is the original model:

I have used a blank spreadsheet as it doesn't need "data" other than the parameters. The parameters created (user input) are for the m, p, and q variables. All other variables are calculated fields. The biggest issue is with the N(t-1) variable. How do I create a calculated field that is the previous value of the same formula? I have tried to use the PREVIOUS_VALUE formula, but I have been very unsuccessful. Anyone able to help? Is this even possible on tableau? A simple yes or no will help me a lot as I will withdraw my efforts in using the software and get back to excel.
