Can tableau do this? Create calculated field by grouping items with matching column values

I've got some sales transactions.

Each transaction includes a basket number which that item belongs to. Think of a grocery store with a row for each item in the basket.

I Want to create a new field called "basket total" which will compute a number by calculating the sum of all prices in that basket. In SQL this would be a group by summation. But how to do this in tableau?

I Know I can just add the basket as a column to see each individual basket on a chart. But I don't want to see each basket. I just want the basket total to filter whether I want to work with a certain transaction row or not. For example the basket size must be at least $50 or don't include that in the chart.
