Filtering on lower level data than displayed in table

Question: I have a simple table showing CountD(customer), and Sum(sales) by year. This COULD easily quantify thousands of transactions per category. Hence:

Customers Sales

5 4,038

I would like to have quick filter (range) that permits me to display only certain number of customers based upon Sum(sales)/year at a customer level. Example: only those customers that buy between $800 - 900/year.

If I use a quick filter on sum(sales) it will not work as it is evaluating only the higher level sum, not the constituent sum of individual customer values. My goal is to show a reduced # of customers, and sales for the specific filter range for the selected year. How do I structure this calculation?

I tried to make an example sheet - hope this helps (Newbie Warning!)

Calculated field (ASP - average selling price) - Newbie

Hello Everyone: I have created a table that displays Sales $ and Units by month (really simple). This data was filtered to exclude invoices that have "negative sales $ values" i.e. those reflecting a return of merchandise. What I would like to do is do a crude ASP for each month by dividing Sales $ by Units, and then hiding the those rows and graph the moving ASP. This should be very simple, but I am perplexed.

I created a calculated field in the measures window and dragged that onto the table but the calculation is whacked.

Help?
