Using Color Range For Measure Values - View In Color But Prints Black?

Hello,

I have a table with measure values from -100 to 100. I dragged the measure values into color and then set the range to be Red for -100 to -0.0001 and then rest is black. When I print this report to PDF the negative values show up as red and the positives show up as black.

My issue is that when I send it to the color prnter, everything prints black. Not sure what the issue is. I also found that if I zoom all the way in to 1000% the red numbers change to black when they are all the way zommed in. They are deffinitelly red when viwing it normally though...

Is there another better way I should be doing this? Thanks.

Year over Year filter

Hello,

I am trying to compare data for YTD (this year) vs. YTD (last year). So essentially I want to compare sales for up to this point this year and up to this point last year. How could I set up the date ranges to automatically update as new data is populated in the data source? I dont want to reset the date manually every morning. Thanks.

Month to date filter when my data has a one day lag

Hello,

I am working with a large data set that that is based on date. For exmaple, every morning our database populates data from the previous date. So this morning (4/14/14), our database was updated with data up to 04/13/14. If I set the date range filter in Tableau to MTD, then this causes a problem on the first of each month. For example, on 5/1/14, all of my worksheets will show no data because Tableau things MTD is 5/1/14 and on while my data range is only up to 4/30/14. In essense what I need is MTD to mean MTD as of yesterday. Is there any way to do this in Tableau?

Thanks.
