How to create a flow chart in Tableau using arrows/lines etc.?

We are building a tool where we are using a huge dataset and though we are using the Tableau extract it’s taking a long to execute. Could you please help us know how we can optimize that?

To optimize that, one option we thought of is – we will reduce the number of rows by using some of the variables as columns. So for example,

We had data initially like this:

Data structure 1:

Customer Product Channel

C1 P1 CH1

C1 P2 CH1

C1 P2 CH2

C2 P2 CH1

C2 P2 CH2

Now we are planning to structure our data (to minimize execution time) as:

Data structure 2:

Customer P1_in_CH1 P2_in_CH1 P1_in_CH2 P2_in_CH2

C1 1 1 0 1

C2 0 1 0 1

Now problem is that we want these products and channel as quick filters in the tool as:

Select product :

Select Channel:

CH1

CH2.

Is there any way to get the filters to apply on the dataset from the columns we created in the data structure 2?

Say I want to give the users of the tool a flexibility to select two different population/subsets from the same dataset (example can be the dataset mentioned above) and get a chart for #Cust

Say I have a dataset:

Product A Product B Product C Store #Cust

A B C 1 100

Not A Not B Not C 1 200

A B C 2 100

Not A Not B Not C 2 200

and I want to give the users of the tool a flexibility to select two different population/subsets from the same dataset (example can be the dataset mentioned above) and get a chart for #Cust

distribution by store for both the population (may be one population can be product A buyers vs. product A and B buyers) on the same chart. Please note that this selection of the population will be

dynamic and chart will change dynamically. How can we do this dynamically?

and so on....

Now I want to create a filter which will have the values:

'Select the product' :
A
B
C

I don't want to change the data structure. But want to create the filter as shown above. Is there any way to do that?
