A shared data source across multiple workbooks?

Hello.

I have one large data source (an Access database running as an extract) that I need to create many many complicated worksheets and dashboards from. I'm keeping each workbook to one or two dashboards for performance reasons. But I have a ton of calculated fields etc that I would like to have available across multiple workbooks. Right now, I'm just going by the ol' copy/paste.

Is there a smoother way?

It would awesome if I could just have one datasource that stays current and that I can hook into with multiple workbooks. Is this possible?

Thank you!

Printing a HUGE dashboard

We want to hang them as "posters" around the office. Hopefully 42" wide.

If I set a custom size on the dashboard, the width maxes out at 4000 pixels. Anybody know of a way to make it even bigger?

Thanks!

Filtering on Calculated Aggregate

I want to include items that have generated over $5000 in revenue OR were launched within the last 6 months.

I have the calculated T/F field:

ATTR([Product Launch Date])>=TODAY()-180 OR SUM([Revenue])>=5000

Of course it's an aggregate and I can't use it as a filter.

Any ideas how to make this happen?

Thanks!

Rolling Date "Filter"

Hello.

I'm working on a KPI's dashboard for our product developers. I need to build a simple text table that shows the revenue in each month attributable to new products.

So I have a "Product Launch Date" field, and I basically need to make it so that in each month, revenue is shown for products launched within the previous six months. For example, August '13 would show total Revenue for products with a lunch date between Feb and Aug of '13. December '13 would show Revenue for products launched between June and Dec '13.

Any ideas?

Thanks!
