I switched to Mac--license issues

My question is : Can I take my license and install it in a virtual machine (Parallel Desktop, VM Fusion or Oracle Virtual Box)? I'll uninstall the program from my windows laptop but I want to have Tableau with me in my new mac laptop.

Replicating Video about Walmart Store Opening

I'm trying to replicate this video using Tableau. I've been successful at doing the easy part: putting opening data on the Pages shelf and using a map to show the different stores.

I wish once a store shows up in the map it stays there. How could I do this? (I could recreate the dataset so that once a store appears in data "t", it appears again for all years greater than "t" but I'm sure there must be an easier way.
