single exception values replacement

Hi,

I have two tables: one with all the main normal data and another one with only a some "exceptional values". As an example lets look at the following table.

Someone then, realizes that the cost for a specific doc number was not correct in the main table. So I have anohter one with exceptions only, such as

I need to group by Sales rep the sum of cost, but replacing the "original" value with the exception, if it exists.

In this case what I need is to create a calculated field that adds the following values for Sales Rep A: 60+40+60=160, where 40 is the exception.

I've tried with ifnull, but I cannot find a solution on an aggregated level. Is it possible to solve this without processing the two tables outside Tableau and creating a Third column?

Please find attached the files in case they help. The real files are actually not excel.
