Having difficulty displaying numbers in a bar chart

Hi,

I have a large number of variables that represent number of people added to a list per week. I'm trying to create a bar chart with the week variables on the X-axis and a number on the Y-axis. However, Tableau displays the numbers right on top of the variable name and I can't figure out a way to move them. Any ideas, folks?

Stopping Tableau from auto-summing my variables

The file I am using has date headings but they needed to be coded as numbers because they represent the number of people added to a list on that date. When I try to express this information in Tableau, it auto-sums the numbers in the date fields and I can’t get it to not do this. I need the “numbers added” for each week but I don’t want the numbers…added. Does anyone have any suggestions on how I might go about this?
