Calculating a "Media Index"

Hello. I am trying to calculate a Media Index for use in a heat map using Tableau. The Media Index is a metric that media buyers would use to understand whether a characteristic of a viewing segment over or under Indexes to an overall population

A simple example is as follows:

((% of males that watch Monday Night Football) / (% of the total population that watches MNF)) * 100

Please note that I know I can create simple flags for Males, Females to calculate the above. The problem is that I have hundreds of consumer demographic variables and want to avoid having to create unique flags for each demographic value.
