ODBC issues with OS X Yosemite

Im having issues with Tableau 8.2.4 on Yosemite. I migrated to the new OS because it was looking at community posts that its compatible. However, I'm unable to connect to my Teradata server. i get this error:

The drivers necessary to connect to this database server are not properly installed. Visit http://www.tableausoftware.com/drivers to download driver setup files.

[iODBC][Driver Manager]dlopen(/Library/Application Support/teradata/client/ODBC/lib/tdata.dylib, 6): Library not loaded: libtdparse.dylib

I did the steps as per the link:Drivers & Activation | Tableau Software

Follow these steps to install the driver for Teradata:

Verify that you have an ODBC Administrator. You can download one from Apple: http://support.apple.com/kb/DL895.
Close Tableau Desktop.
Download the Teradata installer. Double-click the .tar file in the Downloads folder.
Ctrl-click the .pkg file and then click Open to run the package. Accept the defaults.
Restart your computer.
Open Tableau Desktop and connect to Teradata.

How to make a chart or map act as a filter?

I have a dashboard that has a stacked bar chart and a map with data. I want to be able to click on a segment of the stacked bar or a point in the map and for the rest of the tables I have next to them to filter accordingly. The filters I have on the dashboard are Global (Using tableau 7) and if I manipulate them it segments the data accordingly.

I also want that if I pick a data point in the table, that the value is represented in both the map and stacked bar.

Is tableau 8.2.4 compatible with OSX Yosemite?

I've seen some posts in the internet that people are seeing issues with 8.2 with Yosemite. Is 8.2.4 compatible? If not, when can we expect it to be?
