Please help! Data Challenge

Hi,

I am very new to Tableau and I am working on a time sensitive project using the tool. I am trying to break down a string that is part of an Excel upload that is encrypted with information regarding location of data. The string contains information on the name of the report, the category within the report the data is from and the row associated. The information is separated with a "_" (for example, the data from Report X, category Y, row Z will show up as X_Y_ Z ) The categories and rows can be either numbers or letters up to 2 characters. What function will allow me to search using the "_" as the key and group the data into the buckets associated with each category and rows? I've spent hours on this already. ANY HELP IS GREATLY APPRECIATED!!
