Creating a single reference to see whether a date is between two date fields

Hi,

I am having trouble trying to find a solution to this one. I need to find out how many of a particular action happened between two different date fields.

So I have to use:

In data source 1 (called Solicitation query)

Date field 1 (Date moved to solicitation Description): this would be the beginning of the date range

Date field 2 (Date moved to gift received Description): this would be the end of the date range

In data source 2 (called actions linked to proposals)

Date field 3 (Action Date): this is the date I want to fall within the above range

My end goal is to know how many of the actions from data source 2, based on their Action Date, would fall between Date fields 1 and 2 in data source 1.
