unable to connect to infobright

I downloaded a desktop version of Tableau 8.1 and am trying to connect to an Infobright instance. I can connect to it, but when I go to select a schema in the connection window, I get this error:

Unable to connect to the ODBC Data Source. Check that the necessary drivers are installed and that the connection properties are valid.

[MySQL][ODBC 5.2(w) Driver]Can't connect to MySQL server on '127.0.0.1' (10061)

Unable to connect to the server "127.0.0.1". Check that the server is running and that you have access privileges to the requested database.

And it seems that it crashes the infobright service and I have to start it up again. Any ideas on this?

I have both teh 32bit and 64bit mysql drivers installed from tableausoftware.com/drivers

filtering Top 3 percent change over time?

I have a workbook where I have carrier percent change on spend by date over a year, but for some reason I can't seem to filter it for the Top3 by an equation.

I have a transportation data set where the data is lined up by charge types in a column and another column with the charges. If I wanted to calculate Fuel as a Percent compared to Frt charges in Tableau with the data lined up as such, how would I do that? I've attached a sample of the data in an excel format.
